Food is awesome. This is my second trip here and it just gets better. What a great value highly recommend.
First time trying this place and I was pleasantly surprised! Staff is very friendly and helpful. They make it very clear you are expected to finish your food, so don't act surprised if you get charged for wasted food, even if it's rice. The sushi is flavorful and actually has meat to it. We went at lunch and I didn't know I could ask for a dinner menu, which I wish I would have. For $16 you couldn't ask for a better deal. They make sure to serve you smaller portions so you don't over order. It does take some time to get your food, so be patient and enjoy the visit. The ambiance is quiet and welcoming. I would absolutely go back, but I will be asking for a dinner menu and just pay more to have more sushi roll options.
Food: 4/5 Service 5/5 First time here! Got some lo mein, crab rangoons, and a clear soup for a little less than 20 dollars. The crab rangoons were DELICIOUS! However, the lo mein and clear soup were alright. Great portions however, they loaded the to go plate very well. Ate what was on the plate and still have plenty for two more meals. Will come back around and try some more of their food!
Oh man this place is AWESOME! If you love trying new things, definitely try their buffet out with some friends. My favorite thing to do is to go with a group so when we all order stuff we can share, but even more so here where they bring things out in small servings, tapas-style! Their buffet is different from other places, so be sure to ask about it if you're confused. If you decide to do their version of the buffet, you will be given a specific menu where you can order anything from that menu ENDLESSLY. There are different options for Lunch and Dinner since there's also a price difference. There is a charge for leaving food on your plate so they STRONGLY suggest you only order one or two things at a time. The waiter will come around often so there's plenty of opportunities to order more food. They do charge you but they aren't crazy about it. For example, the waitress almost took my fried rice because there was only a few spoonfuls left and she thought we were done with it. So, I believe as long as you eat most of your food you should be fine. Personally, I ordered two new things every time the waiter came by until I was full. Since they're served on small plates this works well. I went for Egg Drop Soup and was so pleased it didn't have the nasty aftertaste you get from some places. I also love that it's endless so next time I'm definitely getting more. The Coconut Shrimp was more breading than shrimp so it just was ok and the seaweed salad is mostly a little bit of seaweed on top of lettuce and cucumbers. . But the sushi is still excellent so I am always happy to come here and try things with my friend. Fourth takeout and Saki never disappoints. Chicken fried rice is excellent and the egg rolls are to crave for. Wontons are very good. Takeout service efficient and friendly. Certainly will be a repeat customer.
